This list is alphabetized and categorized by 2 star Fiction, then 2 Star Non-Fiction, then 1 Star Fiction, then 1 Star Non-Fiction.
I need to offer a disclaimer. It’s really hard to stay consistent with star ratings over the course of several years. I didn’t nail down my system of rating until recently.
This list of books are the ones I do not recommend you read based on my own opinions. Obviously everyone has different tastes in books, so I would not be surprised if someone’s favorite book makes this list. It’s okay to like different things!
It’s shorter than my other lists because I tend to read a lot of reviews before I decide to read a book. If I don’t think I’ll like something, I don’t waste my time on it. So a lot of books that could find themselves here don’t even get the chance. There are too many books to read and not enough time to do it!
No system is perfect, but hopefully this list will help you dodge a bullet a two!
If you would rather browse my reviews by Genre or Topic, click the linked text. I don’t have that metric added to this list until I can figure out a way that makes sense.

Something Missing?
Is there a book missing from my list that you would like to see a review for? Send me message and let me know! I can’t promise I’ll get to every request, but if it’s already on my To-Read list, I can move it up to the top!
I only started reviewing books more seriously in the last few years, so there are a lot of books I’ve read that I never wrote reviews on. If there’s one you’d like to know about, I might have already read it and can give a recommendation. Or maybe I’ll just reread it and write a review just for you!
