This list is alphabetized and categorized by 5 star Fiction, then 5 Star Non-Fiction, then 4 Star Fiction, then 4 Star Non-Fiction.

All of my favorites or recommended books aren’t even on this list because I read them before I started writing reviews. I have more books rated on my Goodreads page if you want to follow me there and check out the ‘complete list.’

I need to offer a disclaimer. It’s really hard to stay consistent with star ratings over the course of several years. I didn’t nail down my system of rating until recently, and even then, as I categorize these books I feel some of the ratings should be switched from 5 to 4 or 4 to 5 based on my memory of the book at this point in time.

So just know that both 4 and 5 star books are ones that I recommend and it often wasn’t much that kept a book from jumping up or down a rating. I’ll let my reviews speak for themselves.

No system is perfect. Hopefully this still helps you in some way!
